I'm a 5' 10", strong, loving, woman...still working on the muscles. My husband is 5'8" and LOVES being married to an Amazon. Men who know themselves, who are complete in themselves as men, they admire and respect strong, intelligent women. Don't waste your time on the rest.

I'm a guy. I have muscles. I like to work on cars and play golf. I even have opinions and express them freely. And, I like women. A lot!
The most attractive trait a woman can have is competence. Next on the list is health, which includes having a bit of muscle if she is so inclined. In fact, I can't remember ever seeing a woman that I thought was unattractive because of her muscles.
And I'd be glad to hear your opinion, just don't try to beat me up with it.

I've been called a bitch many a time for speaking my mind and refusing to be a good "non boat rocking" kinda girl. I have embraced it but I think I like your idea even better so Amazon it is! I'll be pinching your button and displaying it proudly.

I prefer Amazon to "terrier" which I have been called before - I guess referring to the fact that I'm opinionated and strong for my size????

Anyhoo - Even though I'm short, I'm not the slightest bit frail (I come from hard-working farmers after all!) and I have to prove it often. Society is so weird.

There is nothing I want more then to have well defined arms etc. Nothing wrong with a little muscle here and there. I don't like the body builder type, but hey, each to their own.
Thanks for the comment on my blog today. You make perfect sense and I really must stop beating myself up about going over points :) So, i am over it! hehe
I also used to be so self conscious about my height but now i'm loving it! Screw anyone who wants to mock me!!! ;) Just wish my feet were a leeetle bit smaller.

Hmmm... I don't know if I want to be associated with my birds. I have two blue front amazons that have a tendency to drive me crazy.

Just this morning I had to listen to "Huh?...What?" for a half hour straight. Is there such thing as birdy hearing aids? LOL

Like yourself, I'm proud of the fact that I'm not frail or fragile. I like my female curves, but there isn't any reason why I can't show alittle bicep or quad once in awhile.

Hubby on the other hand sees my being an "Amazon" threatening, but I won't go there. He's just going to have to learn some coping skills because I'm not interested in having the shape of a 14 year old boy...

I have no problem with women that build muscle, some look very good that way, And from the few pics I have seen of you on here, You are one of them.
My only dislike with women that build muscle are the ones that take it to the extreme and look like the male body builders, (but if that is what they like I don't discourage it, it's just not something that appeals to me.)
But, keep up the good work, You look great.

well, we don't have to fill them in on the "breastless" meaning of the word...LOL ;) Of course, that's never been my problem. Eye contact during a conversation with a male, a whole other topic!

I think the term Bitch is misused and over used. Here is the actual definition:

1)A female canine animal, especially a dog.
2)Offensive.
A woman considered to be spiteful or overbearing.
A lewd woman.
A man considered to be weak or contemptible.
3) Slang. A complaint.
4) Slang. Something very unpleasant or difficult.

When you look at the actual meaning, it really isn't working for me. Amazon, I like :) Here is that definition:

1) Greek Mythology. A member of a nation of women warriors reputed to have lived in Scythia.
2) A tall, aggressive, strong-willed woman.
3) A small green parrot of the genus Amazona, having a short tail and red-and-blue wings, native to Central and South America.

I like all three of those. :) Much more suited to the actual usage I'm intending! :)

My fiance is always shocked to hear my girlfriends and I calling each other 'bitch'. But when we are saying it to each other, it means something like 'wow, you aren't going to put up with any crap, are you? And neither am I.' Of course, I'd hate to be the MAN who called one of us that... which is why Amazon is striking me as a good alternative. Except, I get enough 'no breast'comments as it is...
